Tech Short Episode 121 - Requesting Professional Development Funds for Tech in Frontline

In Episode 121, we look at how you can request professional development funds in Frontline My Learning Plan to cover the cost of a technology device that can improve student learning and that is not currently provided by the district. Examples of this include a smart phone or an iPad. You can request a device of a certain type once every three years, so you can purchase a phone this year, an iPad the next, and something else the third year. Note that if you elect to purchase a phone, you need to pay the full price up to $500.00, and you can finance the rest. You cannot finance the whole phone, as the district will not reimburse you for monthly bills. Let’s take a look at the process!
